The bigger the heart, the smaller the things

One day, a man with a sad face went up the mountain to ask a master: Life is too tiring and bitter, what should I do?

The master did not answer, but added a tablespoon of salt to a glass of water and let the man taste it. We can imagine the result; the man complained that the water was too salty.

The master smiled, then added the same amount of a spoonful of salt into the pond, scooped a glass of water and handed it to him, he realized that, Everyone's life is tough, and whether life is hard or not depends on whether one's heart can take the stress.

01

On the road of life, we will always encounter all kinds of bad things, the sufferings, the pain of losing, the anxiety, the intrusion of diseases and disasters... No one can be spared, and no one can be immuned.

We can't change the situation, but we can change the mindset.

"If you love, everything in life is lovely. If you hate, everything in life is hateful. If you are grateful, you can be grateful in everything."

The happiness of man lies in the happiness of the heart.

Those who live happily are not because they are without worries and challenge, but because of their mentality.

02

There was once that I heard an argument of my neighbours in the wee morning. It turned out that they planned to leave for a trip this morning, but before they could go out, the car had a flat tire and the argument intensified.

At this time, their children shouted:

Shouldn't we be thankful that the car didn't have a flat tire on the highway?

After hearing this, my neighbours stopped, and in the next second, they suddenly laughed.

"Looking at the problem from a different angle, you will gain something different, and the world will be displayed in front of you in another angle."

Many times, the predicament you think is just because you are trapped in your own thinking. There is no absolute misfortune in this world. If you look in another direction, you will often gain another way of thinking and encounter different scenery.

When you are stuck in a bottleneck in your work, think about it, this is actually an experience that adds value to yourself, is an instant motivation;

When you are infuriated by your child, think about how much joy this life has brought you, and does your anger disappear in an instant?

When you fall into the bottom of your life, think about it, no matter how you go from now on, it will be uphill, what else is unacceptable?

Dickens said: Life is not as good as you think, but it's not as bad as you think.

03

When you close your hands, there is nothing inside; when you open your hands, the world is in your hands.

Knowing how to let go is a kind of wisdom.

In 1991, South African President Mandela shocked the world with a gesture at his inauguration.

He even respectfully paid tribute to the three guards who had imprisoned him.

However, what makes the world admire even more is what he said next:

"When I walked out of my cell and walked through the prison gate to freedom, I knew that if I couldn't leave my grief and resentment behind me, then I was still in prison."

In life, there will always be some things that make us sad and some people who make us feel uneasy.

However, things have changed, the past can never be repeated, what is the meaning of trapping myself, it is only myself who is embarrassed.

Obsession is the shackles of the soul, and letting go is the salvation of the soul.

"If you can't forget it, then the pain will be fresh and vivid all the time, and it will torture you all the time. It is better to let it go and be indifferent."

Only by letting go of the past can we embrace tomorrow; by letting go of obsessions, we can reap happiness.

The rest of your life is very precious, and if you let go of one thought, the world will be free.

Life is a journey, and the most important thing is to cultivate the heart.

If your heart is small, things will be big; if your heart is big, things will be small.

Relax and look at things, and your life will be bright, with horizons far and wide.
